Dunnigan lies approximately 40 miles north of Sacramento, CA in Yolo County. The Dunnigan Volunteer Fire Department provides fire and rescue protection services and emergency medical services to over 1,400 residents in the Dunnigan Fire Protection District, which comprises a 112 square mile area. The department is made up of 22 men and women volunteer firefighters, who are trained in first aid, CPR and auto extrication. The goal of the fire department is to provide the safest, most effective and most efficient medical and fire services to the residents and businesses of Dunnigan.
